Abstract
In March 2023, the Family Business Histories project joined in a webinar as guest panilists to explore the histories behind leading regional family businesses. Farida El Agamy, General Manager at Tharawat Family Business Forum, and Israa Mahjoub, Research Associate at New York University Abu Dhabi discussed the reasons for family businesses’ longevity, exploring correlations between the founder stories and the business durability, as well as the underlying factors for entrepreneurial success.
The webinar was hosted by the American University of Cairo and moderated by Randa El Bedawy, Associate Professor of Management at AUC School of Business.
