Abstract
The NYUAD Global Asia Initiative is an interdisciplinary network of faculty working on Asia in global, connected frameworks.
It is a platform for scholars to come together to discuss each other’s work, host talks by external speakers, or collaborate on curricular development. For the next three years faculty in the Global Asia Initiative are partners in a grant from the Luce Foundation, “Port City Environments in Global Asia,” to form research and curricular partnerships with faculty affiliated with NYU Shanghai’s Center for Global Asia and NYU-NY’s New York Center for Global Asia.
